Foundation Complete

They started yesterday morning with a pile of stone and ended yesterday with a complete foundation!  These guys fly!

That's My House You're Building There

Went by this morning and they were putting up block! PM says framing should start next week! It's exciting now!

Cleared for Takeoff

Went by the lot today so my fiancé could take a look at it. While we were there our PM drove by to let us know he had picked up our building permit from the county! Even said they might be able to start as early as Saturday! So happy that this day is finally here.

IT HAS BEGUN!

Trees are falling, dirt is moving, wood chips are flying everywhere. The land clearing has begun!

Pre-Construction Scheduled!

Talked to our SR today and we will be having our Pre-Construction meeting next Monday! We are very anxious to get started with the next step in this process and really looking forward to breaking ground soon.

UPDATE:

Stephanie: Here are the pictures of the attic we saw in the model. MUCH bigger area. I am going to send this to Annie and Trenton too. The way it looks to me, its just a difference in how the HVAC is routed, but I'm not certain.

Need Tips for Pre Construction

Hello all! In a couple of weeks we should be having our pre-construction meeting. I have been looking through a couple of blogs with lists of items to think about and ask about, but I am always looking supplement my knowledge. If anyone has any tips or questions or "oh my God why didn't I think of that at my pre-construction meeting" ideas that I should have in mind, please feel free to pass them on to me here.
